OPERATIONAL NOTES

The operator must be positioned in a safe area, protected from live traffic, with a clear line of sight of at least 120 meters in advance of each lantern to monitor approaching road users.

The operator must not undertake any other task while controlling the PTSL system.

The maximum operating distance between each traffic lantern should be no more than 400 meters.

Each Handheld Remote Controller (HRC) can control 1 or 2 PTSLs as per the traffic control requirements.
